We offer a wide variety of services including homeschool consultation, homeschool tutoring,  and small group classes.  Explore our website to see all the ways we can help your child experience educational success!

 

The Director and Owner of the SCA Tutoring Center is a mother of 5 children and has successfully homeschooled for almost 20 years! 

 

We understand the homeschool community and we know there is nothing more important to you than your child's education.  There are many tutors and tutoring centers that have jumped on the homeschool bandwagon as a means of additional income.  However, the SCA Tutoring Center believes in homeschooling and its mission.  Therefore, we respect you and the goals you have established for your homeschool.  We are simply here to support you and your child on your academic journey!  We understand that you are in control of your child's education, however as a team we can ensure that there are no learning gaps and alleviate unnecessary stress and worry.

Homeschooling parents enjoy the opportunity to connect  with their children while providing a curriculum that is based on their cultural, religious or moral beliefs.  However,  sometimes as children become older, it can become difficult for parents of to find both the teaching time and necessary academic resources to ensure a high-quality learning program. For this reason, many parents turn to our homeschool tutors whose presence not only ease the workload for parents but can also expose the student to other styles of teaching. Our homeschool tutors have extensive experience working with students of all ages and  abilities. 

 

We provide completely individualized, affordable tutoring and homeschool services for students in grades PreK-12.    These sessions are offered online and in-person.  The center director meets with each family for a FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION to discuss needs and gather information that helps our leadership team establish an individualized plan for instruction and match each student with the best tutor.

How do we do It?

We will discuss your educational vision and goals for your family.  We will discuss the needs of your child and the options that we offer. We will administer a diagnostic assessment and develop a learning plan for your child. 

Your child will receive academic support and instruction in ELA and Math in small groups of no more than 3 students either in person or online 4 days per week.  Your child will receive one on one attention from the tutor once per week where they will work on any areas of weakness or they use this time to introduce new content. Parents can opt for additional one on one time with the specialist.

We take part in ongoing parent conferences and  collaborations to ensure your child's academic success.
